St Mary Magdalene Church, Mid Holmewood

Lighting replacement.

L&C were asked the Diocese and steering group to transform this wonderful church from a dark and shadowy church with limited functionality, into a bright and cheerful place of worship.

We took on board the wishes and concerns of the Vicar and her collegues and with the help of Illuma Lighting created video walk though's using You Tube technology.

To say that transforming this almost 200 year old building was enjoyable would be a huge under estimate. we absolutely love this type of project and worked hard for 18 months to ensure that what we were going to deliver went beyond the clients expectations.

The installation from start to finish took 8 working days. We used Rako wireless lighting controls to minimise the cabling required. This also ensured that we didn't need to drill any holes into the stonework.

A private wireless network was created which not only allows administrators and approved members to alter the 7 lighting scenes accessible from the 3 wireless switch plates, but also povides a further 9 secure scenes for any number of events the church may play host to.

The project was finished sooner that the client expected and came in £1200 UNDER budget!
